Job description

Gary Merlino Construction Co., Inc is a privately held locally owned and operated general contractor specializing in heavy civil construction. Position Summary

We are looking for a FCAW WABO certified welder for our facility in Seattle with a current and valid driver\'s license. Ideal candidates have steel and aluminum fabrication experience, mechanical experience including electrical and troubleshooting, or with 5+ years of related work history.

Required Qualifications
  • Must have at least 3 years steel and aluminum welding experience or technical school completion with current WABO FCAW certificate.
  • Ability and desire to take on increasingly complex responsibilities.
  • Ability to read and follow engineer drawings and instructions, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to use wide variety of tools and equipment.
  • Ability to use overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Proficient on a variety of steel and aluminum including various grades and thickness.
  • Mechanical experience including 12 volt wiring, hydraulic, and air.
  • Good attendance and attitude a must.
  • Legally allowed to work in the United States.
