Inspects and accepts structural steel products to increase the probability of the products satisfactory performance during the service life of the structure. Uses KDOT, ASTM, AWS, AASHTO, and SSPC specifications, as well as industry standards, to evaluate structural steel fabrication, cutting, welding, bolting, and painting. Performs or monitors non-destructive testing, quali
