Central States Water Resources is seeking a dedicated Water & Wastewater Operator in Dallas, TX. The role is responsible for operating and maintaining wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.

It requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and teamwork to keep plants running 24/7. Work includes routine testing, monitoring, maintenance, and reporting using industry software and SCADA.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn plant software.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsabilités

• Operate, maintain, and monitor equipment and processes to ensure proper operation.
• Conduct regular test checks on chemical levels, water quality, and equipment operations.
• Monitor water quality throughout the facility to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Quality control by performing routine testing of water and wastewater to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Compile and enter plant operation and water quality data into SAMS system for required reports.
• Record and report accurate operational data and performance metrics.
• Perform routine, corrective, and preventive maintenance on treatment equipment and systems, including minor electrical and mechanical repairs, SCADA system, and VFDs.
• Work various shifts as the treatment plant operates 24/7.
