Jim Ellis Automotive Group seeks a Certified VW Technician at Jim Ellis Volkswagen Chamblee to perform vehicle service and repair tasks. The role offers high flat rate or hourly pay based on experience and certifications, with weekly pay and bonuses.

Entry includes tools provided for entry-level techs, healthcare options, a 401(k) with company match, and ongoing training. This on-site position supports a busy shop with opportunities for advancement within the Jim Ellis network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Minimum of 18 years of age to be able to drive for the company.
• Basic communication and problem solving skills using US units of measure.
• Exert force to move/manipulate objects (up to 50lbs occasionally, 30lbs frequently, and 10lbs constantly).

Responsibilities

• Properly complete services and/or repairs according to safety requirements and published procedures or work repair instructions.
• Work is conducted inside, outside, and in a shop environment near moving vehicles and equipment, with exposure to chemicals and moderate to loud noise.
