A leading automotive dealership in Haverhill is seeking a Certified Volvo Automotive Service Technician. This entry-level role involves performing maintenance and repairs on vehicles, working efficiently with diagnostic tools, and communicating with service advisors. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience as an auto technician. A sign-on bonus of up to $25,000 is available based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an auto technician.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Learns quickly.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency.
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor about additional service needed.
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed; provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications
