Job summary

Hiley Volkswagen of Arlington is seeking skilled Volkswagen Certified Technicians to join our service team. Based in Arlington, TX, you'll perform repairs, conduct tests, and communicate with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed.

The role requires 2+ years of technician experience, high school diploma, and VW certification preferred. We offer competitive pay, weekly/monthly bonuses, 401(k), medical/dental, PTO, and a climate-controlled shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform work listed on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems incl. engine, trans, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor regarding additional repairs and time estimates.
• Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Our Service manager is looking for Volkswagen Certified Technicians to join our team at Hiley Volkswagen of Arlington.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Volkswagen certified preferred
• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• A, B, C, D levelincluding Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
