Job summary

Alliance Animal Health’s Bedford Pet Urgent Care seeks a Certified Veterinary Technician with an active NH license and at least 1 year of professional experience to join a busy, multi-doctor hospital serving dogs, cats and pocket pets.

Responsibilities include triage, anesthesia and surgical assistance, radiography, lab work and client communication. Shifts may be covered at both Bedford and Hudson locations; weekend availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active veterinary technician license required; 1+ year professional experience.
• Punctual, reliable, weekend availability.
• Excellent client communication and medical record management.
• Knowledge of veterinary procedures, preventative care and hospital operations.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with exposure to hazards.

Responsibilities

• Animal restraint and triage of incoming patients.
• Collection and analysis of lab samples.
• Diagnostic imaging and radiography.
• Medical care of hospitalized cases.
• Anesthetic management and surgical preparation/assistance.
