Job summary

Grove Veterinary Clinic in Newport, Oregon is seeking an experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) to support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry.

You will balance exam room care, client communication, and hands-on procedural support, using clinical knowledge and teamwork to elevate patient care and client experience in a busy general practice.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Active and good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician in Oregon
• Proficiency in patient assessment, nursing care, anesthesia, dental procedures, venipuncture, meds and lab testing
• Strong client communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
• Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Perform dental procedures including prophylaxis and radiography
• Maintain accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
• Build strong client relationships through education and attentive service
