Qualifications

• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credentialed
• Surgical proficiency and experience assisting with surgical procedures
• Must hold an active Illinois Veterinary Technician license
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care by determining animal requirements and conducting examinations
• Assist during surgeries and nursing care, manage medications and vaccines
• Maintain medical records and ensure proper documentation
• Provide compassionate client service and communicate patient status to owners
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a clean, safe hospital environment
