Royal Vista Veterinary Specialists is looking for a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT) experienced in Oncology to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

About the Hospital

We offer 24/7 emergency and urgent care for dogs and cats in Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming. Our specialties include critical care, internal medicine, oncology, and surgery. We also provide mobile veterinary surgery services through Front Range Mobile Surgical Specialists. Our highly-trained team is here for you 24/7, every day of the year, working closely with your family veterinarian to ensure continuity of care and the best outcomes for your pets. We cherish the human-animal bond and treat every patient and client with compassion, dignity, and respect.

About You

As a Veterinary Technician, CVT, you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey, including outpatient treatments, laboratory tests, surgery assistance, and support services such as admitting and discharging patients.

Experience & Skills Requirements
  • REQUIRED: Active LVT/RVT or CVT
  • Experience in Oncology preferred; experience in specialty or ER encouraged
  • Skilled at patient restraint, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, jugular blood draws, radiographs, and general technician duties
  • Positive work attitude, self-motivated, excellent communication and organization skills
  • Committed to a stress-free environment for patients and enjoys working in a fast-paced setting
Role Responsibilities
  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality care, advocate for pets, and educate clients
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state regulations for credentialed technicians
  • Communicate with clients about health concerns and treatment options
  • Maintain medical records and relevant health history
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow protocols, and keep treatment areas clean and organized
  • Mentor and support fellow team members

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience, starting at $24-$27/hour, considering skills, qualifications, and location.
