Southgate Animal Clinic is seeking a full-time certified veterinary technician to support our busy 3-doctor practice. We value upbeat, friendly team members who can multitask and communicate effectively with clients and doctors.

Ideal candidates will have animal medical field experience, a positive attitude, and detail-oriented approach. Cornerstone knowledge is a plus, and the role includes procedure prep, radiographs, dental cleaning, and routine labs.

Qualifications

• Experience in the animal medical field.
• Positive attitude with strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Cornerstone knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients and doctors.
• Document medical information.
• Educate clients.
• Perform venipuncture and restraint.
• Take digital radiographs and assist in surgery.
• Prepare and monitor surgery; dental cleaning required.
• Perform routine lab tests.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
