Companion Animal Hospital in Hillsboro is growing!

We are a full-service, 3 DVM, AAHA-accredited hospital with state-of-the-art technology including digital radiology, dentistry, ultrasound, and therapeutic laser. Our practice serves small animals, including rabbits, pocket pets, and exotic pets.

Position: Veterinary Technician – assisting the Veterinarian with daily cases, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, and surgical preparation. Also a mentor and training resource for non-credentialed technicians and assistants.

Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians with patient care throughout the day.
• Monitor anesthesia, perform dental and surgical prep.
• Document medical records and fill medications.
• Interact with clients and maintain positive client relationships.
• Help keep the clinic clean and well stocked.
• Support the team with pet care tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Credentialed certified veterinary technician.
• Detail-oriented with strong teamwork and independent work skills.
• Outgoing, proactive, able to connect with clients and patients.
• Ability to multi-task, manage records, and maintain a professional attitude.
