Capitol Illini-Chatham is adding to our team! This is a Certified Veterinary Technician position, with full-time hours and amazing benefits available. We are seeking a dedicated, self-motivated vet tech who loves learning and leading in the veterinary field. Our hospital utilizes Scribenote (AI dictation software) to record exam notes, which allows our DVM's and support staff to treat patients more effectively. At Capitol Illini, our vet techs are fully utilized and appreciated for their education and skills, with room for personal advancement available as well.
$500 Sign On Bonus
Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.00/hour (based on experience)

Monday 7:00am - 6:00pm
Tuesday 7:00am - 6:00pm
Wednesday 7:00am - 6:00pm
Thursday 7:00am - 6:00pm
Friday 7:00am - 6:00pm
Saturday 7:00am - 12:00pm
Sunday Closed

Job Summary: The Certified Veterinary Technician provides leadership and training to the medical support staff in the operation of a small animal facility in accordance with hospital policy and procedures and provides medical care to patients as allowed in the veterinary practice act. The Certified Veterinary Technician will be able to communicate effectively with team members and clients and have great attention to detail and organizational abilities.
