The Animal Hospital of Largo is an animal veterinary care facility located in Largo, Florida. We are a full-service animal hospital providing veterinary care to dogs and cats and offer services such as routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Our goal is to assemble a veterinary healthcare team committed to providing exceptional client service and veterinary healthcare. We prioritize continuing education, technological advances, and compassionate care for pets.

We are seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our team. Benefits include a peer network of over 5000 individuals, CE allowance, and Learning & Development programs.

1. Perform professional client communication and education, obtain medical histories and symptoms.
2. Conduct laboratory procedures including hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals.
3. Utilize diagnostic imaging and implement safety protocols.
4. Apply nursing skills such as restraining patients, administering medications, bandaging, IV catheter placement, surgery prep, and anesthesia monitoring.
5. Proficient in dental prophylaxis.

Position Requirements

1. Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) or ability to transfer credentials.
2. Associates degree in Veterinary Technology.
