Job summary

Mueller Veterinary Services, a four-doctor, mixed-animal practice in Illinois, is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician. The role emphasizes anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, dentistry, radiology, and client education while delivering compassionate nursing care for both small and large animals.

Licensed technicians or those eligible to obtain licensure will find a supportive environment that values growth, ongoing education, and teamwork.

Qualifications

Licensed Veterinary Technician in Illinois or eligible to practice.
Experience with anesthesia and dentistry.

Responsibilities

Assist with surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring
Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab work
Conduct dental cleanings and radiology
Provide high-quality nursing care for small and large animal patients
Educate clients and build strong relationships
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Work collaboratively with veterinarians and teammates

Role: Certified Veterinary Technician
Status: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience & licensure
Schedule: Four full workdays per week + rotating Saturdays (8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)
