  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Monitor and maintain medical equipment.
  • Communicate with pet owners about treatments.
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition.

Position Overview

The base salary range for this full‑time position is $19.00–$24.00 per hour. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and are complemented by additional factors such as experience and education.

The role is full‑time or part‑time, Monday–Friday. The position offers competitive wages based on experience and skill set, opportunities for growth, and support for continuing education.

Responsibilities
  • Provide vital support to veterinarians and RVT’s, ensuring optimal care for patients.
  • Monitor critically ill or injured patients closely.
  • Collaborate with the team for around‑the‑clock care and treatment coordination.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures such as bloodwork and imaging.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Monitor and maintain medical equipment.
  • Communicate with pet owners regarding patient updates and treatment plans.
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and provide care as needed.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, client invoices, estimates and other position‑related calculations.
