Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Sonography.
• ARDMS certification.
• Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/ Health Care Provider through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Access and evaluate patient history and physical findings.
• Accurately image the anatomic structures requested.
• Enter patient information and set up equipment for optimal image quality.
• Interact with Physicians regarding sonographic data.
• Recognize and respond to findings requiring clinical action.
• Understand Doppler ultrasound principles and instrumentation.
• Communicate complex imaging information to patients and care teams.
