Job summary

bob swope ford is seeking a Ford Certified Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong service technician background and ASE & Ford certification, with duties including performing work on repair orders and diagnosing repairs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• ASE and Ford certifications required or in progress.
• Ford dealership experience preferred.
• B level qualifications including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional service needs and time estimates
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
