Job summary

AutoNation, America’s largest automotive retailer, seeks a Certified Technician in Fort Myers to perform repair and maintenance with focus on safety and reliability. You’ll diagnose issues, coordinate with Parts and Service Advisors, and document all work to ensure quality service.

The role includes factory training, OEM certification support, and a clear path to advancement across service, sales, and management. A valid license and 2+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years automotive technician experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance following dealer and factory standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Document work on the repair order and maintain tools inventory as needed.
