Qualifications

• ARC Water Safety Instructor (WSI) or YMCA Swim Instructor certification is required.
• AHA BLS certification within 90 days of employment is required.
• Completion of SRMH swim instructor training within the first 30 days of employment is required.
• Swim instructor experience of 1 year is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach private and group swim lessons based on American Red Cross guidelines.
• Ensure safety of swimmers of all ages and abilities.
• Provide a fun and positive learning experience.
• Remain in the water for extended periods of time.
