Job summary

SCA Health in New Jersey is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). The role acts as a scrub person during operative procedures, assists with instrument prep, and supports room turnover to maintain a safe, efficient surgical suite.

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program; prior CST experience preferred; current CST certification preferred; and BLS within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Prior CST experience preferred.
• Current CST certification preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment or current.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning and room turnover for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
