Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech for a 13-week assignment in Michigan. Role involves OR duties, assisting with robotics cases, and ensuring patient safety with emphasis on exposure optimization. BLS certification and NBSTSA CSFA are required.

Qualifications include 2 years of experience or equivalent education (HS Diploma + 2 years, GED + 2 years, Associates or Technical Degree). Expect potential to float to related OR areas and possible overtime to finish cases.

Qualifications

• Must have NBSTSA CSFA certification
• BLS provider certification required
• Minimum two years experience or relevant degree preferred
• Proficiency in closing total joints and/or robotic cases

Responsibilities

• Position patients to optimize exposure and patient safety.
• Provide visualization of the operative site; assist hemostasis.
• Assist with wound dressings, drains, and room setup.
• Float to areas of equal or lesser acuity as needed; may scrub cases.
• May work past scheduled end time to complete cases.
• Must work well in a high-stress environment.
