Qualifications

• BCLS/CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NBSTSA surgical tech certification required.
• One year of experience as a surgical technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon and patient needs during a procedure.
• Handle specimens, prepare and monitor medications, assist with dressings.
• Set up and maintain sterile environment and field during procedures.
• Move and position patients safely to prevent injury.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Participate in orientation and education of OR staff.
• Stock and restock medical supplies.
• Provide surgeons and patients with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
