Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved on the job training curriculum and/or comparable work experience.
• One month of job-related experience and/or training.
• BLS certification.
• One year of experience in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares operating rooms, ensuring equipment and supplies are disinfected, assembled and functional.
• Maintains sterile field in operating room.
• Provides supportive care during pre-operative phase.
• Prepares patient skin for surgery and positions patients; monitors vital signs.
