Job summary

Advanced Surgical Care of Clearwater, LLC is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. The CST will scrub for procedures, maintain sterile field, and prepare supplies and equipment for the surgical team, contributing to quality improvement activities.

Ambulatory setting experience is strongly preferred, with emphasis on Ortho and/or ENT. The role requires excellent teamwork, clear communication, and a solid understanding of aseptic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Completion of a Surgical Technician Program
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Experienced in Ortho and/or ENT highly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures
• Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center
• Supports and participates in quality improvement activities
