Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Iron Mountain, MI is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to assist in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. The position involves supporting the surgical team, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring effective communication throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in an Operating Room or Ambulatory Care Center preferred.
• Must obtain BCLS within one month of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients.
• Maintain sterile field and pass instruments to surgeons.
• Perform postoperative care and assist in transporting patients.
