Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technologist Program.
• Prior CST experience is preferred.
• Current CST certification is preferred.
• BLS certification or successful completion within 90 days of employment is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative room and preparation of the room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Graduate or equivalent

Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technologist Program

Prior Experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred

Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred

Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment
