Johnston-Willis Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist to join a highly collaborative obstetric/surgical team in Richmond, VA. The role includes preparing the surgical suite, assisting with procedures, and maintaining sterility while supporting patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED
• Vocational School Graduate
• (ST) Surgical Technologist, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist

Responsibilities

• Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands‑on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
• Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience
