McLean Tysons Orthopedic Surgery Center in McLean, VA is hiring a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist to support surgeons and the operating room team. The CST will prepare and maintain the sterile field, assist with patient positioning, and ensure safe, efficient patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program and relevant OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, and procedures.

• Ability to anticipate surgical needs.

Responsabilités

• Review the surgical schedule and prepare case carts, instrumentation, and supplies.
• Set up the operating room according to surgeon preference cards.
• Assist with patient positioning, skin prep, and equipment setup as directed by the RN Circulator.
• Maintain the sterile field and practice aseptic technique.
• Count instruments, sponges, and sharps with the circulating nurse.
• Assist with equipment operation and troubleshooting.
