Job summary

Surgery Partners seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. You will assist in procedures under the direction of surgeons and nurses, ensuring a sterile, safe environment throughout the perioperative process.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program, CST certification, and current BLS. One to two years of OR experience is preferred; new graduates may be considered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Current CST certification as required by state regulations.
• Current BLS certification.
• One (1) to two (2) years of clinical OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures under the direction and supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel.
• Help ensure a safe, efficient, and sterile environment before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with OR teams including surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, nurses, and surgical technologists.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program

Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
