Job summary

SCA Health in Downers Grove, IL is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). The CST will function as scrub during operative procedures, prepare instruments, and support sterile technique across cases.

We value teamwork and clinical quality, with requirements including HS diploma, CST program graduation, and BLS certification; prior CST experience and current CST certification are preferred. This is a full-time position within a national network.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS course within 90 days or current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
