Job summary

SCA Health in Worcester, MA is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our operating room team. You will scrub during operative and invasive procedures, prepare instruments, and assist with room turnover to ready for the next patient.

The role requires graduation from an accredited CST program and a current or soon-to-be BLS certification; prior CST experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO and more.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program is required.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification is preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Scrub as a surgical technologist during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure room cleaning and set-up for subsequent patients.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
