Qualifications

• Associates degree, vocational certification or military certificate in Surgical Technology is required.
• Certification in CST/NBSTA/TS-C or TS-C is required or eligibility, NCCT certification required.
• One year of perioperative or related surgical technology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during the procedure and maintains aseptic technique.
• Prepares, maintains, and organizes sterile supplies and instruments for the procedure.
• Provides complete case preparation with the ability to adapt to special instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Assists with pre- and post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and instruments.
• Prepares and performs surgical skin prep and clipping as indicated by procedure.
