Job summary

SCA Health in Cincinnati is actively seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our operating room team. As a CST, you will function as a scrub person during operative and invasive procedures, ensuring sterility and efficiency throughout each case.

You will clean and prepare instruments, transport them to decontamination, assist with room turnover, and help prepare for subsequent patients. Previous CST experience and BLS certification are preferred, with immediate on-boarding

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Experience as a CST preferred.
• Current CST certification preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS course within 90 days of employment or current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
