Job summary

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center is seeking an OR Tech II Certified to join the surgical team in the Operating Room. You will work under the OR nurse supervision, assisting with intra-operative care and ensuring patient needs are met from infancy to life span.

Requirements include one year of surgical scrub tech experience (preferred), BLS, and TS-C or CST certification. This is a non-travel, full-time day shift with comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Job Summary And Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:

The OR Tech II Certified is an active member of the surgical team in the Operating Room. The OR Tech II Certified functions under the direct supervision of the OR nurse. He/she is responsible for assisting the OR nurse in assessing the needs of the patients, infancy through life span, and for organizing and planning care sufficient to meet identified needs during the intra-operative phase, by performing technical duties as assigned. The OR Tech II Certified supports hospital mission, values and visions.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

One year experience as a Surgical Scrub Technologist preferred;

BLS required

Surgical Tech Certification

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED
• (TS-C) Tech in Surgery - Certified, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist
