Certified Surgical Technologist First Assistant

This position involves active participation in managing supply inventories, surgical equipment, operating room readiness, and providing direct clinical and technical assistance to surgeons during operative procedures. Candidates should have an expanded knowledge of surgical instrumentation, techniques, human anatomy, and wound closure, with strong hand/eye dexterity and sequential planning skills. The role may serve as a first assistant or surgical scrub technologist, under supervision of perioperative registered nurses or physicians. All activities must meet departmental standards for quality and quantity of work. Performs additional duties as assigned.

• Graduate of a Surgical Technician Program - Required
• Maintains national certification within subspecialty area
