Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist for St. Francis Medical Center in Richmond. The role supports the surgical team by preparing sterile instruments and supplies and by maintaining aseptic technique throughout procedures.

Requires an Associate degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology; certification by CST/NBSTA/TS-C or NCCT; Virginia CST licensure if currently residing in Virginia. One year perioperative experience preferred.

• Association degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology is required.
• Must hold CST/NBSTA/TS-C or NCCT certification.
• Virginia CST license required if residing in Virginia.
• One year perioperative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruments and supplies to the surgical team while maintaining aseptic technique.
• Prepare and organize sterile supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Assist with pre/post procedure cleaning of the operating room and instruments.
• Assist with skin prep and clipping as indicated by procedure.
