Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient care by assisting the surgeon before, during, and after surgical procedures; maintains sterile field and provides instruments.
• Plans, sets up, performs, and cleans up the assigned surgical procedure as a circulator and/or scrub tech; operates equipment as needed.
• Maintains instrument and equipment integrity; performs room turnover and terminal cleaning; uses supplies cost-effectively.
