Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist in Glenview, IL. The role is 32 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with an on-call rotation. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and CST certification; CPR is required.

Responsibilities include scrubbing for intraoperative procedures, preparing instruments, counting supplies, assisting with dressings, and maintaining OR inventory. Benefits are offered for full- or part-time positions.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist school or minimum 3 years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Certification: Current CPR certification required. CST highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub person duties during the intraoperative phase of surgical procedures
• Assist in the preparation and dispensing of instruments, equipment and supplies required for surgical procedures
• Conduct all instrument, needle, sharps and sponge counts, as well as handle specimens
• Assist in the application of dressings or casts and moving patients
• Assist in decontamination/reprocessing area when assigned
• Maintain inventory in Operating Room and on carts
