Qualifications

• Successfully completed an accredited surgical technologist training program.
• Maintain registration with the VA Department of Health Professions.
• Knowledge of principles of growth and development across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to assure quality patient care.
• Establish and maintain a sterile field for the surgical team.
• Safely pass instruments during procedures.
• Participate in surgical counts as per policy.
• Communicate with staff and patients to facilitate continuity of care.
