As our Surgical Technologist, you will helpour surgical team and patientsby providing critical technical support during surgical procedures so they canachieve optimal patient outcomes and ensure smooth, safe operations within the perioperative environment.This role is essential for delivering quality surgical care across various patient populations.
Every day you willperform as a skilled Scrub Technician, proficiently handling surgical instruments and equipment.You will be expected tosafely operate and maintain a wide array of specialized surgical tools, including CUSA Neuro Suction Irrigator, microscopes, power equipment (drills, saws), autoclaves, and instrument washers, in strict accordance with manufacturer instructions and Medical Center policy.
To be successful in this role, you will need aCST certificationand at least six months of acute care surgery department experience, or a recently completed ORT externship. Candidates with military surgical tech experience are also highly valued. A strong understanding of medical center policies and procedures, coupled with excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain professional camaraderie, are essential.
