Job summary

Community Surgery Center Plus in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the Operating Room team and assist in colorectal and GI/endoscopic procedures.

You will collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and staff to deliver safe, compassionate patient care, manage instruments, and support intraoperative workflows.

Applicants should have graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, NBSTSA certification within six months, and one year OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAAHEP- or ABHES-accredited Surgical Technology program or graduation from an NCCT-authorized school with completion of a GED or high school diploma.
• Associate degree preferred.
• NBSTSA Surgical Technologist certification obtained within six months of hire.
• 1 year of Operating Room experience preferred.
• Strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skill are required.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task with a high degree of responsibility.

The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) will be part of a professional care team responsible for assisting in colorectal and GI/endoscopic surgical procedures. Will collaborate with all members of the care team to provide exceptional care and compassion to our patient population and the families we serve.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAAHEP- or ABHES-accredited Surgical Technology program or graduation from an NCCT-authorized school with completion of a GED or high school diploma. Associate degree preferred.
• Graduates of a Military Training Program in Surgical Technology that is not accredited must provide a copy of a DD214 stating the base where the program was completed and a graduation certification.
• Current Surgical Technologists with an associate degree or higher in another field and have completed at least 120 surgical cases within the last four years and have completed 30 continuing education credits within the last two years may also be considered.
• Surgical Technologist certification obtained from the NBSTSA required within six months of hire.
• 1 year of Operating Room experience preferred
