Azspineandjoint is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for PRN coverage in a multi-specialty ambulatory surgical center in Bethlehem. Scheduling is 1-3 days per week, with day shifts from Monday to Friday.
You will scrub for ophthalmology, ENT, pain management, orthopedics and retina, assist with instrument setup, sterile technique, and room turnover under supervision of surgeons and nurses. CST certification and BLS are required; OR experience preferred.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Surgical technologists, also called scrubs and surgical or operating room technicians, assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. Surgical technologists are members of operating room teams, which most commonly include surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating nurses.
As a Surg Tech, you will be trained and scrubbed in all specialties (ophthalmology, ENT, pain management, ortho and retina). Picking cases and room turnover is expected to be done by the team.

ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS: Occasional evening and/ or weekend work.
