Job summary

Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support operating room procedures and instrument handling in a fast-paced surgical environment. This role requires graduation from an accredited CST program, HS diploma, and BLS certification.

Responsibilities include scrubbing during procedures, preparing instruments, cleaning rooms, and assisting with post-procedure cleanup. Prior CST experience and BLS current status are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS course within 90 days of employment or be currently BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative room and prep of room for next patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
