Job summary

Perham Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our Perham, MN team. The role includes setup and operation of instruments, sutures, and equipment, and providing skilled support to the surgeon during procedures.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited surgical technology program and hold NBSTSA certification or be eligible. Schedule is full-time with day shifts, and employees receive comprehensive benefits.

• Must possess an active NBSTSA certification or be eligible for certification.

Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable of all operative procedures and surgical equipment.
• Set up and operate instruments, sutures, and equipment used in operative procedures.
• Efficiently and effectively aids the surgeon.
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic anatomy by anticipating and providing for the surgeon's needs during the case.
• Integrates into sterile processing duties.

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Position Details

• Knowledgeable of all operative procedures and surgical equipment.
• Demonstrates the ability to set up and operate instruments, sutures, and equipment used in operative procedures.
• Efficiently and effectively aids the surgeon.
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic anatomy by anticipating and providing for the surgeon's needs during the case.
• Demonstrates the ability to integrate into sterile processing duties.

What You Offer

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Must possess an active certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or be eligible for certification.

Work Schedule

• Full-time, 80 hours per biweekly pay period
• Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm
• Participates in weekday and weekend call rotation (weekend call every 6 weeks)and rotating holidays
