Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, FL is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support the cardiovascular operating room and the surgical team. You will anticipate needs, assemble supplies, and maintain aseptic technique to ensure patient safety and efficiency.

The position requires 1+ OR experience, BLS certification, and CST NTSC certification, with full-time day shifts and a competitive compensation package along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ cardiovascular operating room experience
• BLS CPR certification required
• CST OR Technician Certification required

Responsibilities

• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and keeps the circulating nurse informed throughout a procedure.
• Maintains high standards and quality in facilitating cost savings and containment.
• Assembles all necessary supplies, equipment, and medications prior to the procedure.
• Supports customer and employee satisfaction activities; maintains good relationships with physicians, management, other departments, and staff; and responds to complaints in a timely manner.
• Monitors aseptic technique of the entire surgical team and takes immediate corrective action for any breaks in technique.
• Identifies and reports environmental concerns to management and ensures adherence to regulatory standards and policies.

Job Description

Up to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus and $3,000 Relocation Assistance available to eligible candidates (see terms below)

Terms: 12-month Full-time Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and Relocation

Sign-on Eligibility

• One (1) year of applicable experience
• Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible

Relocation Eligibility

• Must live 50 miles outside of campus address
• Rehires that are less than 12 months from separation date are not eligible

Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours

Shift:

3/12 or 4/10 plus call needs
