Kidney Specialists Of Southern Nevada is seeking a dynamic Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our Ambulatory Surgical Center team in Las Vegas, NV. The CST will prepare operating rooms, assist surgeons, and maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited degree, relevant certifications, and demonstrate proficiency in surgical techniques. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current certification through NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).
• Nevada State license/registration as a Certified Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterile and ready.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain the sterile field and adhere to aseptic techniques.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after surgery.
• Clean and restock the operating room after procedures.

Skills

Proficiency in sterile technique and surgical instrumentation

Strong attention to detail

Ability to remain calm under pressure

Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)

Education

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program

Current certification through NBSTSA

BLS certification

Nevada State license/registration as a Certified Surgical Technologist
