Position Purpose

Provides scrub duties during surgical interventions under the direction and supervision of the physician and the registered nurse.

• Participate in and enhance surgical care during the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases, ensuring positive patient outcomes through teamwork and technical skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology
• Surgical Technician Certification through an approved program (military, academic, or hospital-based); required by Massachusetts law for hires after July 1, 2013
• BLS certification from Red Cross or American Heart Association
