Job summary

St. David’s Medical Center in central Austin seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist to support our state-of-the-art neurological and surgical services. In this role, you will prepare ORs, ensure sterile instruments and supplies, and assist surgeons and RNs during complex procedures, including neuro and robotic-assisted cases.

You will uphold strict aseptic technique, patient safety, and accurate counts while collaborating closely with a compassionate, patient-centered team. St.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent is required.
• Experience in neuro or robotic-assisted surgeries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterile instruments are available.
• Assist surgeons and registered nurses during complex procedures.
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and accurate counts to protect patient safety.
