Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team in Nashville. You will work under the OR nurse supervision, assisting in intraoperative care and coordinating technical duties to support patient needs.

The role requires CST/TS-C/CSA certifications and BLS; a competitive sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered. Our 740+ bed facility provides advanced surgical, heart, vascular and imaging services within the TriStar Health

Qualifications

• Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), or TS-C/CSA certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Be an active member of the surgical team in the operating room.
• Work under the direct supervision of the OR nurse.
• Assist the OR nurse in assessing patient needs and planning intraoperative care.
• Perform technical duties as assigned to support the intraoperative phase.

Job Summary And Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will be an active member of the surgical team in the Operating Room.
• You will function under the direct supervision of the OR nurse.
• You will be responsible for assisting the OR nurse in assessing the needs of the patients, infancy through life span, and for organizing and planning care sufficient to meet identified needs during the intra-operative phase, by performing technical duties as assigned.
• Your role supports hospital mission, values and visions.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (TS-C) Tech in Surgery - Certified, or (CSA) Certified Surgical Assistant, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist
